Digital Production Lead and Web Developer

The Digital Production Lead and Web Developer will be responsible for maintaining active communication between the programming team and the various departments of the agency. The successful candidate will lead the website integration and programming team, as well as oversee and develop digital projects within a creative and stimulating work environment. 


  • Track the development of digital projects, provide in-house team management, and maintain communication between all project stakeholders (suppliers, creative and development team)
  • Evaluate the feasibility of various digital projects
  • Assess risks and technological issues
  • Plan out and manage the entire digital production process and ensure daily monitoring of the team’s achievements
  • Ensure the quality of solutions and production initiatives
  • Allocate resources to different projects based on specific skillsets
  • Assist the Director of Digital Service and Innovation in building the digital team (interviews, onboarding, initial training)
  • Support the Director of Digital Service and Innovation in assessing the risks and impact of operational changes
  • Implement production standards in accordance with best practices and ensure further advancement of these standards
  • Document technological solutions (languages, Framework, internal tools, etc.)
  • Train and support team members
  • Design, develop, and optimize websites, emails, and applications
  • Document all programming steps and tests performed
  • Work closely with the Creative, Strategy, and Management teams


  • A strong sense of leadership, experience in managing a team of developers, the ability to lead by example, think outside the box and resolve conflicts, as well as encourage relationships founded on open communication and transparency
  • Experience in the design and development of digital tools and development practices
  • Knowledge of web development technology, particularly:
    • HTML
    • JavaScript (ECMAScript 6) – jQuery
    • CSS/Sass – Twitter Bootstrap
    • PHP – Symfony/MySQL
    • Automation – Grunt/Webpack
    • WordPress
    • Photoshop/Adobe XD
  • Bilingualism (French/English) verbal and written

The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in team management and web development. The candidate must be dynamic and detail oriented. Having a long-term vision for projects, being a positive person who is well organized and loves working in a team are considered strong assets. The candidate must be able to handle pressure and adhere to extremely tight deadlines. Having a keen sense of responsibility and a strong will to satisfy clients are also must-haves for this position.
